Never a bad thing when a lineman of his size plays basketball. From article:

The 6-foot-4, 305-pound junior from Indianola already has committed to play offensive line at Iowa and is used to being a dominant big man.

His 40 time isn't important for an OG, unless they are going to start using a pulling guard more often.

Keegan Render - Track and Field Profile

Came across this little tidbit. In 2011 he participated at the Jim Duncan Invitational in discus 2kg (115' 4.65) and shot put 16lbs (42' 8.20). 2012 Drake Relays he did shot put (52' 3.17).

He finished 4th at the Drake Relays, 13th at JDI. There are a few more listed on this site. He made it to state track and field and finished 9th after winning 4A district/regional championship in shot put.

Trevon is way, way too young to be an "OG". Unless he was rolling hard as a young kid on the mean streets of Des "Dez Nuts" Moines.

He is going to Iowa. It would take something drastic for him to change his mind from what I hear (haven't talked with his family but people who know them very well). I have seen him play all but 2 games since his freshman year. He was locked in at Iowa about 2 weeks into the high school season this year. Of course, if other big names come calling with the season we had he might listen. Pretty athletic for a big guy, he ran a fake punt play this year where they direct snapped it and he carried the entire defense on his back for about 20 yards as well.
