Hawk baskeball question history question

Hi everyone,

I may be way off base, but seeing that ISU plays Oakland tonight, wasn't there a Hawk player in the 90's (I'm guessing at time frame) that either came from Oakland or transferred from Iowa to Oakland? I know Percy Gibson from ISU transferred there last year, but I am almost positive there was a former Hawk player that transferred to/from Oakland. Anyone remember the player, or is my 50 year old memory letting me down? I tried google but no luck.

PS Yes I am an ISU fan because I went there but grew up a Hawk fan and root for them too, and just want a good game when the two play. No animosity here.

Did he play in games while he was at Iowa. The name is vaguely familiar but I don't remember any details.
