I was just reading an article earlier this morning and read about Rick's 18-3 record. I was thinking if the Hawks go undefeated this year and win the NC game, which is very plausible, Ricky could be 31-3 as a starting quarterback. That is quite a record. Even if the Hawks lose 1 or 2 games that is still at worst 29-5. Just thought I'd share my wow moment I just had.

He was winning when he left the game, so we're going to say he got a no-decision lol.

Rick's tenure also coincides with possibly three of the 20 best defenses in Iowa history..the 2008 defense was the best defense statistically since 1981. Last year's was one of the three or four best since 1981...this year's should be pretty good too

how come people mention QBs' W/L records, but nobody else? What was Bob Sanders' W/L record for example?

QBs are not like baseball pitchers. IMO, W/L records are relevant for coaches and for whole teams, and that's it.
