Has KF tossed in the towel?

Never changes anything. Stays with coaches who simply aren't getting it done. Has he just tossed in the towel and is satisfied with making millions for mediocrity?

I seriously think he's staying on as long as possible until he get's his son the head job and his other two sons inside the football staff. I also think that in his mind that he thinks his old school brand and style of football still works in today's game.

Minny and PSU both have about the same types of offense as Iowa as does Wisky except they will throw the ball downfield.

And I think all 3 of those teams have better offensive linemen.

2 things - Iowa when recruiting, filling out your roster - can't withstand having up to 10+ guys leave early for NFL - just not deep enough. Other was recruiting to fill perimeter and hoping to have a walk-on or two develop in the OLine.

Think both of those factors show v. Top 20 teams in comparing on-field talent

Hahahaha!! Yep, way below mediocre. Now that's funny. I giggled at it.
I deduced two things from your “I Love Nate” thread.

1) You’re either his favorite uncle or future father in law.

2) You’ve been drinking at a moderate pace this evening.

This QB has a history since the beginning of folding in the face of winning crucial games, and if you didn’t see the confusion, happy feet, and missed opportunities that haven’t gotten better in three years, then I don’t know what to say other than alternate a water for every other beer next time.

I don't think he's thrown in the towel at all. His off-season development is still good. His teams always play hard. I think they'll well prepared for what they want to do.

The problems are these:

1. He is too ingrained to play his style. Run to set up play action. PSU and Wisconsin have obvious weaknesses in their secondary and Iowa refused to attack it until late in those games. When Iowa spread it out they were lighting Wisconsin up. That wasn't prevent D, or no-huddle fool's gold, that was Iowa's WRs abusing Wisconsin LBs & DBs.

2. He's still in the 1980s era of getting 7/8 wins and winning a bowl game = a good season.

TL;DR: OK Boomer.
