Has it sunk in yet that the 2019 Iowa Football season is now over?

It seemed like it just started, goes by fast. Yes, we have a bowl game, but that won't be for like 5-6 weeks from now. What to do next Saturday?!?!

I'm glad the season is over for the team members. It is a physical grind and fans and players need a break. Iowa got to 9 wins which was over what was predicted.

In the AP preseason poll these are teams that started out ranked:
Stanford, Nebraska, Washington St., Syracuse, Michigan State, UCF, Tx A&M, and Washington.

None were in the last poll. For Iowa to stay in the poll every week with the schedule difficulty is a huge positive. Iowa was 2 and 3 against ranked opponents as of week 14. They also got included in the CFP standings.

Well, we do pretty much say this just about every year. The offense has been, and always will be, the Achilles heel that keeps this program from being elite. At least with this coaching staff. It's been like this for years and it's apparent that it's NOT going to change.

A lot of these 8-4/9-3 seasons could easily be 10-11 wins nearly every year. If only we had even a competent offense.

That's said.. 8-4/9-3.. Do I want better? Of course. But I'm not going to call for KF's head, either.
