Has August camp started? Not much news hear about practices. No media invited?

Just another thing about football, why do they call it fall camp? It ain't anywhere near fall. It's summer! It's about as aggravating as the "vertical passing game."

82, is this your first season following a Kirk Ferentz coached team? Kidding. They call it Fort Kinnick for a reason. KF doesn't like leaks, distractions, or media. Most college programs allow reasonable media access. Good way to showcase your program.

@RobHowe we changed our minds. We’re ordering you one of these. Model JB11 has 530lbs of thrust and 10 minute flight time.
As a bonus it goes >120mph and maxes out at 18,000 feet so you can get us a nice view of Taylor’s punts. Is there anywhere in IC you can get kerosene at the pump? Also, I need an address for the UPS guy.

Good to know, thanks. I am just getting a little antsy, excited for football. I bought a few tickets but now I am not going to the Indiana game. I am vaxxed and have N95 masks but I dont want to wear a mask in the heat of Sept 4th or whatever and I dont want to sit by a bunch of yelling, spewing non-vaxxed people.
If anyone wants to check in on a ticket just PM me. My buddy may have a couple tickets he wont be using for the IU game right next to mine.

If I were you I’d start an Instagram account to follow Hawkeye sports. Their media dept does a good job posting pictures and videos of camps. Some good mic-ups too.

I have said for years, that some hungry young reporter should befriend a walk-on scrub player and pay him cash/gifts to give daily reports on what is happening in practice. The inside scoop information would surely offset the $25 panchero gift card owed to the 5th string center every day. And, hell, with NIL, the whole thing might be sorta legal.

I think he was more referring to skill guys. I get where he was going with that. Wegher was unreal. Because he wasn't the biggest physically freakish looking guy. 5'11 200ish but he was untouchable. Even after his fiasco of a college career finishing up at Morningside (where he put up video game numbers) he was able to have a cup of coffee in the league. There's no telling what he could done had he kept his head on strait and stayed at Iowa.
This DeJean kid is similar yet played QB at an even smaller school. Dude is fast is a sprinter and just a hell of a player with the ball in his hands. I pray BF might find a way to use him on O even if it's only for a play or 2 a game tops. But he seems reluctant to do that sort of stuff so I'm not counting on it
I agree, maybe they use him like Desmond King KR PR... we have some guys but this kid is legit!! cant wait to see him at FS.. really is Tyler Sash like (RIP)
