Only as I am grasping at straws to try and make Iowa's current situation less painful do I offer this up.
Week in week out Harbaugh is a better coach, hands down, but is he a worse coach in terms of getting 'less from more' than Ferentz? After likely losing to O$U next week they will be 8-4, with a roster full of 4* and 5* athletes - while getting paid about double what Ferentz makes. Finishing in that side of the conference where we might end up in ours. I believe he is in his 4th year there as well. Plenty of time to get things rolling in Ann Arbor.
I dislike Michigan to an extreme level, but I have to think their fans and our fans feel somewhat similar about their coaches.
