Haley Fired.... Stanzi Time?

Yeah got to love firing coaches when they lose their best 2 offensive guys and their best defensive guy to injuries....i am sure that was all his fault.
 
So Haley was holding Stanzi back? Come on guys, Stanzi was an above average college qb, he is not an NFL qb.

TC, I was completely in your camp a week or two ago. Very few teams would look good without their starting QB, RB, Safety and TE.

However, living in KC, this Palko/Stanzi thing seems to be nothing but spite. Pioli and Haley clearly do not get along. I believe Stanzi was a Pioli pick and Haley is taking his ball and going home by not playing Stanzi.

In other words, I had given Haley a pass on the W's and L's based on the circumstances, but my perception of the Stanzi handling has caused me to move from Haley's camp.
 
Don't you think that Haley road Palko to his grave. How else do you explain him being fired. He sticks with Palko who is miserable and doesn't make a change at all. Now he is fired. Pretty simple to me.
 
Not that I think Haley was doing a great job, but this year the team was hit with some pretty significant injuries. Charles, Moeaki, and Berry all out for pretty much the entire season and the Cassel goes down, who is not great but a lot better than palko and stanzi.

As far as stanzi goes, he won't play until he is ready, and it is hard enough for first round QBs to come in and do well right away let alone a 5th round pick or whatever he was.

Stanzi was more than just an above average college QB. He wasn't great but he was a very good college QB.
 
I don't think Haley liked Stanzi. I don't think Stanzi was going to play as long as Haley was there. Haley stuck to his guns and got himself fired.

Your answer to this will be if Rick starts this week. I am not saying this was the only reason but I think Piolli and Haley didn't see eye to eye on many things, and the fact that this public display of defiance on sticking with Palko didn't help.

Don't they have Orton now too? is he healthy? if anyone but Palko starts may be safer bet.
 
Orton hurt his finger on the first pass play he was in on. He was questionable coming into this past weekend.
 
Haley wa getting paid millions and he shows up to coach a game looking like a bum. Didnt shave, sweatshirts and that ugly, sun faded, salt stained pink chiefs hat. What ever happpend to coaches looking respectable? Geez!
