By watching YouTube footage of Iowa's 59-0 win of Illinois (from 1985 when they were probably the chippiest, mouthiest, troubled off the field team in the league) Hayden and Bill Snyder attacked early and often in awful conditions with deep passes, etc.
Here's my question. Kirk was on that staff as OL coach. Anyone wonder how it must haveprivately pissed him off to see football played the way Hayden and Bill coached it?
It had to look like the Willy Wonka tunnel of terror to him. Just food for thought.
