Ha Rick Pitino wants Fran's old job

His son might want/need that job soon, too.
What is it with the University of Minnesota? Start in 1972 when Bill Musselman'' desire to recruit thugs culminated with a horrific, racial oriented brawl with Ohio State. Before it was over, OSU Luke Witte was in intensive care for fifteen days, two gophers were suspended for the season, and future MLB hall Hall of famer Dave Winfield's career nearly ended before it began.

Fast forward to January 1986. Madison police storm the team plane on the tarmac and question three players for their role in an alleged sexual assault the night before. By the time the dust settles, three players have been dismissed, head coach Jim Dutcher has resigned, the next game at Northwestern has been forfeited, two more players are declared academically ineligible, and Minnesota finishes the balance of the season with an interim coach and six scholarship players.

Enter Clem Haskins. He eventually gets the Gophs into the final four but has to vacate the banner and subsequent big ten Championship banner after academic fraud has been uncovered.

Three years ago, lil' Richie has to suspend three players at the end of the conference season. Then the Reggie Lynch deal. And the threatened bowl boycott from 2016. On and on it goes.

I say again. What is going on up there?

Sounds like the perfect job for Alfraud to take over.
