I want to start by saying I am very excited for the future of Krieger-Coble. At Mt Pleasant he was a standout on both sides of the ball. That being said, I also agree if he wants to see the field sooner it is on the defensive side of the ball. I know little about Hamilton, but I will state that Fedorowicz by all accounts is more athletic then Krieger-Coble. CJ also has better size. Ignoring all of the stars that scouting agencies put out, you can still learn a lot about a recruit by reading his profile. CJ is faster and bigger than Krieger-Coble, and one of the reasons he was a higer profile recruit was because of his unbelievable athleticism for an TE of his size, and also his plus hands. On the radio after media day CJ was one of the players Ferentz pointed out could be a surprise producer this year(along with Gettis, Scherff, Sleeper, and the winner of the Kirksey/Dibona battle). I do hope that KC doesnt get red shirted this year because I think he will be very helpful on ST, and I think he will be important contibutor down the road for the Hawkeyes. I just don't see him overtaking Herman or CJ this year at TE, or CJ the next few years. I think when CJ leaves he will have an accomplished career at TE U.
