Ok, I've had an opportunity to watch a few games. I'm concerned about our guards holding up to the pressure defense and mugging that goes on in this tournament. After watching Cincinnati, Arizona, Arkansas and a few others...the ball pressure is crazy. I know it's all about match ups, but can we win a scrum against one of these teams.

We have a very, very favorable draw the first few rounds. Gonzaga's not going to beat you up...Davidson isn't going to beat you up. UCLA/UAB aren't going to beat you up. If we get some confidence today...Why Not Us...to steal from Pat Chambers.

I'm not worried about that TODAY anyway. Iowa plays in the B1G and are used to this, no way does Davidson play more physical than B1G teams. Now you have a point if we win and advance, but I'm not worried about it today.

EDIT: Great point though. My buddies and I were talking about how college BB has devolved into a game of holding, pushing, shoving, bodying up and overall mugging on the court.

I hope we get some scoring from our guards. It would be nice if someone gets hot like Bryce Alford for UCLA. He was 9 for 11 from 3-point range. If someone would get hot I think it would have to be Jok.

Davidson's guards are not physical. We want this game today to be physical and to have the refs allow us to beat them up a little. Now come Zaga we want them to blow the whistles and get a guard and a post in foul trouble.
