I always thought his defenses gave up a ton of yards. I am not surprised that Michigan can't defend. When he was with the KC Chiefs, their defense was always getting gashed.

He was decent when he was with the Broncos. I used to think itwas immense lack of talent, now I am beginning to think he just has no idea how to defend anything. I would not be surprised if he is gone after this year. There has been no improvement. He has a potential all american NG and has no idea how to use him. Sure, his secondary has had a lot of misfortune in injury, guys going pro, and 2 highly recruited corners not panning out, but he has 2 3 year starters at Lber. They should be able to stop the run but they don't. They are bad and I don't see improvement next year.

i'll break down his resume right quick:

Had a great defense in the late 90's with the broncos, but was eventually run out of town by Shannahan because the defense began to give up a ton of yards.
