Great to have better Schedule

But only if you can beat some of them. Back to playing three pansies in front of 5000 excited fans and then on to North Carolina to play a team with great guard play. Do we win a big game in non conference? I thought Iowa State maybe but they clearly have more talent. If we dont win a couple Hawks will have to be above 500 in conference to have any chance and I think that will be difficult. Its still early and maybe someone will step up in the guard court but I dont see a likely candidate.

How much whining has there been about our schedule the past 4 years. Now that the schedule is tougher, now more whining the other way. Make up your mind.

For me I like it because this exposes our deficiencies right away. No looking good early only to get our teeth kicked in later by ISU, UNI and the B1G on a normal year with a bunch of patsies.

After these two games it is apparent we lack athletes, shooters and ballers to get it done.

Yes. I've told the "we want a tougher schedule" guys in the past that they will be the same ones complaining if/when the Hawks lose some of them.

Hate to say it? People were actually glad marble was leaving? What is wrong with some of ya.

Jok needs to be part of this team, and he has been pretty average putting it nicely. With as well as Woody has been, might as well give him more scoring looks. I'd also only take White out when you absolutely need to. Teams can look quite a bit different in Feb/March than November, hopefully some chemistry erupts.

There's a lot of people who didn't need these two games to know what is apparent.

I thought the number #1 thing was that if the Hawks were going to lose then it needs to be at least exciting to lose. No more 40s or 50s scoring outputs and losing. You know, running up and down the floor and scoring in the 80's. Then, even losing would be palatable. Now the Hawks are losing while scoring just in the 50s and low 60s.

It's find it to be boring basketball to see stupid non-pressure TOs and balls clanking off the rim (or side of the backboard) game after game after game.

Even losing helps the RPI...if it's against good teams. And we all know how much the Selection Committee loves the RPI.
