Of course marble set the tone in first half and he didnt force it in the 2nd.
Look at Gesell's line, +11 in Assists/steals vs turnovers, 10 pts and even 4 bounds
Look at the 4 forwards, what great glass game by white and basabe, and the 4 of them really scored.
15 points and 8 bounds from the center position.

Good bench production, beautiful game to listen to.

When they are shooting well, defending and rebounding like today, putting it all together they are tough.

The hawks had a couple of scoring funks today but they were shorter and the defense got them out of it.

Super all around game and the defense against a really good offensive team.

If they play like this most of the way they can win both these road games and who knows what else.

Glad Fran went to more a shorter bench and focused more on playing 8 guys for the most part. Better chemistry. Gessel's last five min vs. osu and today's game could be a glimpse of things to come as he looked confident and played at another level.
I was sorry to see Utoff his time chopped and Clemmons too, (having a decent game will never make Mc cabe a better option than. Utoff). Again, glad team had short bench and the players are close enough in ability that it probably doesn't matter that much which of the last five guys get the PT.''
