Gotta lay it out there

I have supported this staff...I think they are moral compasses for our state. I am done with supporting what is going on. Our offense is pathetic..our defense continues to be a strength. Those of you who support the staff...how? This poor old Iowa stuff is hogwash...see Jerry Kill and Minnesota. The offensive game simply is not going to ever get better with Kirk at the helm. I am tired of hearing interview after interview, commentator after commentator saying the same thing...Iowa is so predicatable and easy to prepare for they only do a few things. That is not a flattering comment at all...seriously it isn't. Time to move on or for Kirk to turn over the keys to the offense and let somebody "run" with it...no pun intended.

Wait, are people upset with Ferentz or something? Anyone know what's going on?

Join the fastest growing club in the State. I too held out hope and supported this staff up until last week.

If the standard was you cannot post on a topic that has already been beaten to death, there would be nothing to read. Another fan sharing his frustration with the program. I got no problem with that. Sometimes you just need to vent. The snide comments aren't necessary.

I quit reading at "see Jerry Kill and Minnesota." Iowa would likely be 9-0 or 8-1 playing the schedule Minnesota has up to this point(I give them a win for playing themselves at home.) The only loss maybe being at Michigan.

just when I think message boards are getting boring, predictible and redundant, this fresh new crisp pice hits the forum.

Now I can't even tell if the OP is genuinely frustrated or just trolling. I'm gonna assume the former. If the latter, then good on you. Ya catfished me.

I applaud your point about all the pundits, coaches, and commentators now using the same line as many of us have been spouting for months. Iowa is too damned predictable and easy to plan for. If I was hearing that over and over I would make some changes. But not KF. That is what I find so maddening about him. He has many traits that I really admire, but that one flaw makes me want to pull my hair out!

Ok, I'm done now. pretty sure that horse is dead. ;)

People hate me for it but Ive said for a long time that kirk would rather lose and play his kind of football than make changes and win.

Ok..so did you watch the IU-Minny game.....IU absolutely blew that game at the end, and should have won. Minnys best win is over Nebby...Iowa might match that....and oh yes, Iowa also dominated Minny on their home field....and you like Minny better? Lets see if Minny beats NIU,OSU...oh wait...they do not play those ranked teams...and Wisky...sure, lets see how they do vs Bucky....Iowa beat Minny...period.

Just look at Jerry Kill at Minnesota....

......Keeps same assistants for 20+ years
......as a young coach at Directional Illinois went to Coaches Clinic in Iowa City hosted by Mirf Kerentz
......Has trouble standing up on the sideline for the whole season.
......Takes one player each year and bullies/intimidates/runs him off the team for no reason.
......Base power offense with a little misdirection and sweep to set up play action.

The 2012 Hawkeyes wouldn't have gone 8-1 if they played all 9 games against Coe. Turns out it's 2013. Sorry you missed Christmas and some other things that probably sucked to miss. If you seem to be an hour early a lot lately, we turned the clocks back last weekend. No need to thank me.

LoessHill has been around for a while. Don't think that he was out looking for a troll.
Thanks....
Now this today from Purdue coach:"But we're moving forward, and we're looking forward to playing a good Iowa opponent, and after studying these guys the last 48 hours, they're a very good football team, especially their offensive and defensive lines are very good. They're simplistic in structure. You know where you're going to line up offensively and defensively. You're going to run zone inside and outside on offense, and defensively you're going to sit in their four man front and play cover‑six for 1st and 2nd down, play cover one on 3rd down, so it's going to be a good opponent for us on Saturday, and I think it'll be a great football game."

ENOUGH SAID
