Got into an argument today

I absolutely hate talking to people that do not understand the current landscape.
My fucking landlord tried telling me that no school has ever offered a freshman in HS.
Futher more he tried telling me about Jr visits.

I swear, I try to be nice. But Jesus I need a different class of friends.
Because these ones are dumb.
I try, good God I try.
Ya know what? I'm happy that your brother did this at state. I'm happy that your daughter dove at state. I am.
But that doesn't give you the right to talk down to me.
Wake up, I'm a Hawkeye.
The struggle is real people. I deal with it daily.

Find out if his daughter is hot and report back to us.

Most ISU chicks are uglier than a mud fence on a rainy day, but the whole dive team thing improves the odds slightly.

Is your landlord your mom and you live in the basement? Are you a millennial? What kind of landlord can you talk to like that?

No no and no.
As for what kind of person talks to another without respect? One that I don't respect in return.
What really got me was after wanting to arguing, I said here I'll show you on my phone. Then it was "nobody cares".
 
But at least on here we can talk football.
I personally find the subject very engaging. Yet fewer and fewer people do. Used to be you could walk into just about anywhere and find people that like to talk about sports, but I think those days are gone.

Yeah made the mistake of trying to chat up a guy I saw with an Eagles hat on in the airport in Nashville awhile back. Dude thought I was talking about physics when I brought up the game Foles had in Super Bowl...

Unfortunately.
I decided to make some changes in my life and meeting people and interacting with people has never been my strength. So I decided to work on that, but boy do they make it tough.

I won't get into the exact circumstances, but yeah I figured, same as you and for good reason I might add, that sports was probably a safe subject.

You would normally be correct, but right now I am watching a pod of dolphins "fishing" a couple of hundred yards from my deck looking out over the Gulf of Mexico in Cedar Key, FL. It was 80 degrees yesterday and will be about the same today. Enjoying fresh seafood every night. See, TK and your crowd, I am not completely dumb.

Your post gave me the biggest laugh of the day! I looked at the "like" list and could have listed the participants without even looking! Thanks, TK! I'll bet you guys will eventually change the entire dynamic of Iowa sports.
