Didn't realize PJ and the Boat Rowers were playing tonight. Did they go for two or get a safety?

Went for 2, their first touchdown was awesome. They used a massive lineman to run the ball in and then used a trick play to go for 2. Reminds me of the Bears from the 80s when they used to run The Fridge.

I only ended up watching about 5 minutes of that game, which is 5 minutes longer than any of the other bowl games played so far.
yep, I will start watching bowls with the bigger matchups. I watched the last qtr of the game after getting home and Minny was running the ball very well. Minny one of the few teams to really run the ball well against the hawks this year. Mich had two bigs runs against the hawks but otherwise maybe didnt avg 3 yards per carry.
I hope Minny loses most of that offensive line to graduation or whatever.

Minnesota was very, very good this year. Iowa's win in Kinnick was huge

ya starting to realize that. Iowa had just enough passing effectiveness in that game. I noticed wisky also took that same approach against Minny but they were not successful.

Iowa won a Big West title this year even though we may not have been the best team in the division from a pure talent and experience standpoint, particularly on offense. There were years when we had the best team and did not win it.
Iowa surprised a lot of people this year. We have a great coaching staff.
