My goodness it's thick here in minneyland. Flags extra high, people parading around in gooferwear, half the local sportscast dedicated to the 'big game' today. Like nothing I've seen in 15 yrs living here.

Here's hoping PSU puts all this to a violent end.....

It is the first taste of success they have had in a long time. What do you expect? I think and hope they will end up disappointed today, but, I cannot blame them for being excited. BTW-- I had not thought about the goal post scenario . . . interesting.

If we beat Wisconsin and the Goophs beat PSU, they could clinch with a win next week in Kinnick. Iowa and Wisconsin would then both have 3 losses, Goophs would have 0 with 2 games left.

That said, there's no way they come close to our goal posts. People would die.

I lived there for 7 years and people that I know never rooted for the Gophers or even realized they existed are now decked out in Gopher gear. After Penn State trounces them it will go back to how it always is.
