New York Giants defensive back Tyler Sash couldn't get his suspension reduced.* The former Iowa Hawkeye met with NFL commissioner Roger Goodell on Monday hoping to appeal his 4 game suspension for violating the league's policy on performance enhancing drugs.
Sash said the test, conducted in March, came back positive because of his Adderall prescription.* Adderall is not banned by the NFL, but players must get a Therapeutic Use Exemption prior to using it.* Sash says he failed to file the necessary paperwork.
Sash will also have to find a new place to keep in football shape as he's banned from using Giants' facilities during the suspension.
