I checked Iowa's record. They are still 0-0, the loss didn't count!

Seriously though, Fran is tinkering with lineups. As he should be in an exhibition game. This team will be just fine.

I'm very bullish on the Hawks and am not worried at all. The future is VERY bright for Iowa hoops. Go Hawks!

The freshmen didn't play in the 2nd half and I think Uhl was out for most of the game as well. Color me not worried.

I am just worried on who is gonna step up after the top few guys.

Fran has said that Ellingson and Baer will be the top primary backups.

No slight against those guys, but I am not sure that will make for a successful B1G basketball team.

We need Uhl, or Flemming, or Jones to step up bad this season if we want to be very successful.

There's plenty of talent on this team to make them very explosive and dangerous against whomever we play. It's just a matter of getting some of the younger guys some experience.

Back when Woodbury and Gesell signed on it was a heralded class. Then Uthoff came on board and even added more to the expectations. It would be very disappointing for this team to lay an egg this season. A lot of experience at the guard position and a forward in Uthoff that could be a dynamic player as good if not better that White. If Woody can step up and show why he was rated a four star out of high school and Jones can develope a strong presence on both ends of the court then this team should be humming. I didn't even mention Jok yet. By the end of the season I expect him and Uthoff to be lighting up the score board. The talent is there if Fran can just develope it and bring it together we should be very good.
