Didn't realize he was a McDonald's All American Nominee in 2008! Excited to see what he can do for the Hawks. We DEFINITELY need a guy who can penetrate and create his own shots.

Yeah I also had no idea he was an McDonalds All-American Nominee. I wonder if he'll end up as our starting PG at the end of the year.

A lot of people get nominated. I believe current forward Jarryd Cole was a nominee as well. You don't need to be a McDs AA to be an impact player. John Wall wasn't(prep school rule for 5th year players I believe).

You make a good point in that a lot people get nominated. However, I would venture to guess the talent in CA is on a different level than some other states.
