Good anaylsis comparing Fant, Hock, Kittle and other TE's

Nice find. Really good job of objectively breaking them down. I still think Kittle's rise shouldn't be that big of a surprise. Physically he can do it all. Granted he went to a team with few other offensive weapons and once they realized he was pretty darn good they just went to him over and over. Not to mention Shanahan is great at scheming him open. So Kittle did have a perfect storm of events go down for him to do his thing. (minus Jimmy G and CJ getting hurt and having 3 qbs)

I'm really curious how TJ will perform at the combine. If he's anywhere close to having similar #s that Kittle had he'll be the first one taken. I suspect he'll be between a 4.53 and 4.58 40 guy. If he's faster than that at all holy crap....

Thank you GDGD for massively under-utilizing George Kittle.

Yes, I am bitter.
I just hope he stays healthy so he can really cash in for his 2nd contract. Salaries for 5th round picks isn't a whole lot when you factor in cost of living. I think I read that 80% of all homes in the San Fran bay area are over 1 mill... Lord knows what rent must be. It's crazy out there. So hopefully he's getting some significant endorsement deals.

It's all hindsight and he did help us to 2015, but looking back it's amazing how poor of a fit GD really was.

His offense even further hampered our WR recruiting, stunted our OL recruiting and growth, and wasted years of guys like Tevaun Smith, George Kittle, and CJF. And, his handpicked assistant helped unravel what would have been Iowa's best recruiting class under KF.

Kirk doesn't get a pass for finally letting him go, but the fact that our current OC at least understands the philosophy of Iowa football much better than Davis ever did has me breathing much easier when our offense takes the field.

I believe you are right. Seems like all the football experts don't question his football skills. Of course being the NFL they want to see his measurables.

This guy has Hock going #7 to Jax before the measurables. Hmmm.

Yeah if he's as fast as Kittle then how couldn't he be the 1st TE taken? He's just as big and a better blocker if anything. His hands are amazing. It's almost surprising that Hocks decision to go pro was as tough to make as it was for him. He's the real deal. I really hope he and Fant go to teams with good QBs and offensive systems that'll use them a lot. Being in an organization that's a great fit means more than just going sooner a few picks

YAC
Fant has the speed, but that’s about it for him with the ball in his hands.

That's what me and @CP87 have been sayin!
