I've heard the university is officially calling for a "Be Bold Wear Gold" game vs UNI, but I've seen some tweets recently encouraging people to wear green for Greenwood. Anyone else hearing about the green movement?

They are pushing for a greenout next week. We are doing shirts again. Little different this time, we added something to the back. We sold 53 so far.

Here is the facebook page pushing for the greenout.

Another 'Colorful' Season Awaits - Iowa Official Athletic Site

Iowa's second "Be Bold, Wear Gold" game is scheduled for Saturday, Sept. 15, when Iowa completes back-to-back games against intrastate rivals by entertaining Northern Iowa at 2:30 p.m. Iowa time at Kinnick.

The 2012 Black and Gold Spirit Game will once again be a prime time event. Fans will be asked to wear black and gold by section on the evening of Saturday, Oct. 20, when Iowa entertains Penn State in the second annual ANF Day at Historic Kinnick Stadium. The rules remain the same: fans in odd section numbers wear black, fans in even numbered sections wear gold.

The annual celebration of the heritage and innovation of the Iowa farmer will take place all afternoon inside the ANF Legends tent on the Krause Family Plaza. Fans are encouraged to visit that location for a special autograph session with former Hawkeyes and receive ANF merchandise while supplies last.

The 2012 Blackout Game is set for Saturday, Nov. 10, when Iowa entertains Purdue and salutes America's veterans as part of the nation's Veteran's Day activities.

Every fan within the 20yd line and end zone sections should put on a red shirt when Iowa gets inside the 20.
Intermingle "6" and "welcome" on the front.
