I would much have preferred Black jerseys tonight. Maybe even some whacky thing like Street for the name of every player... NCAA rule won't allow everyone wearing #40. The tiny CMS 40 patch (and all patches) are getting old.

Actually I believe that the home team can wear their "colors" jerseys. Wichita ST/Creighton game today is the latest example.
Black and white TV is only about 20 or 30 years ago... it's OK for both teams to wear their "colors" with first choice to the home team as long as they aren't the same and won't confuse players, coaches, refs and the viewers at home who have up graded to a "color" TV
