The announcers just referenced "Iowa State's fake field goal attempt."

Can we please get some real announcers? I'm willing to do the job. They can pay me a lot less than the current guys they're sending out there right now, too. Please.

I know this is beating a dead horse, but it gets old fast with the terrible announcing, from mistakenly saying the University is located in Des Moines or Ames to calling them ISU. And this isn't the first time it has happened on ESPN. Eventually higher-ups could probably tell their announcers when referencing another game to get their names straight.

You would think since they make their living on sports they would make the effort to at the very least create the illusion that they were knowledgable on the very basics.

We need to just start contacting the networks when the make mistakes like this....eventually somebody will hear it.
