Glad I didn't see this game.

Sounds like an absolute garbage performance but Iowa. Did I see something like the Indiana bench outscored Iowa's 28-0?

Frankly, I expected Iowa to crap there pants and lose this game. Typical Iowa.

Oh well, onto the next I suppose.

Not a garbage performance. Tough to win when Indiana comes out hot and scores 45 points in the first half. Iowa bench was a big disappointment. But, the second chance points for Indiana in the first half and at some key times in the second half, spelled defeat for the Hawks.

Another key issue: Iowa forgot that they had a 7 foot center and never really looked to feed Adam on the inside. Big big mistake. Adam with another double/double and they never really took advantage of him. Good coaching point for next time around.

Prediction: Iowa will not lose another game in the Big Ten.

One of those games we used to see where they had scoring droughts, poor free throw shooting, and played great defense at times and then let guys have easy layups.

They will get it back together and the bench will play better. Get another streak going against Minny

Played well first 8-10 mins of 2nd half, then faded. Woody should get some props, played well, had mismatch all game down low which Hawks did not take full advantage of.

To be fair he missed about 4 layups which doesn't exactly create much confidence.

Winter sucks balls and I'm not ready for it to be over because I don't want basketball to end. I was jacked all day and was nervous for the first 5 minutes like I was the one playing the game. I'm glad as hell I didn't miss this game and hope I don't miss a single minute the rest of the season.

Yet another irrational stupid comment coming from someone who didn't watch the game. Surprising and oh so typical unintelligent posters. Go crawl under a rock until the next W..

oh well well onto the next I suppose the OP stated in closing? lmao if you don't watch a game of this magnitude, try and convince me you watch any games! lol on to the next game I will google I suppose!

Sorry I work two jobs and I'm currently working overnight for 2 weeks at one of them? It's such a travesty that I can't watch every game due to responsibilities (not that I'm saying you don't).

Don't be so quick to judge before you know.

My "garbage" comment was based on several who watched the game, and the 28-0 regarding our bench being outscored was a statistic I saw on the web.

PS, thanks to the other posters who commented regarding the game and gave me a quick low down.

I appreciate it!

Exactly. A famous person with one eye kept pointing that out, but Woodbury doesn't close as much as a 7-footer shooter, down low.

They were favored. Their crowd was awesome. Crean let Yogi do most of the coaching...very smart. We couldn't make free throws. The game was too intense to let the bench play through mistakes and get comfortable. Our starters were a step slow late due to fatigue. I still expect us to win the last 6. No worries!

Let me guess you don't have means to record it and watch after work. I do however think it's rather comical for someone who didn't watch and comments almost moments after the game ends that they crapped the bed and typical Iowa blah blah blah. You obviously must work where you have interaction with customers.

I figured this game would be by tough. Iowa lost to a Indiana team that just got shocked by Penn State the game before and trust me Indiana by no means was going to lose lastnight they played possessed. Listen You don't score 78 points on the road and say it was an absolute garbage performance!

Sorry but you're post rubbed me the wrong because Iowa battled in that game lastnight and game up short..

It was a garbage performance - on national TV no less. I predict this team will not win another conference game on the road the rest of the year. One CERTAIN loss is @ Michigan on a Sunday - the last conference game. No road teams win in that kind of a set-up, let alone this team. Ohio State? Loss. Penn State? Loss. And if the usual funeral parlor atmosphere is on display at Carver for the remaining home games, I predict losses to Wisconsin and Indiana. So, a 12-6 conference record is what I will predict for this team. The losses to Maryland and Indiana were worse than the scores indicated. And a "solid" bench does not go out and lay a zero points egg like that debacle last night... Iowa's "signature" road wins were early in the conference year before Iowa was taken seriously.

McCaffery had better light a fire under this outfit and under himself while he is at it.

The very first game all freshmen started for the fab 5 the bench went scoreless. That might have been one of the best benches of all time and they didn't score a single point. It happens.

How much we betting??? It's Put up or shut up time.. In this day and age We can easily facilitate a bet.. Let's do this!

I simply expressed what I feel will happen in the final 6 games. If that's being the "worst," then I guess I am. I just don't see how anyone can draw many positives from last night. Excuses, maybe, but not positives. I hope my prediction of 12-6 in the B1G is wrong. It's just a prediction - not heresy.

If I were dumb enough to predict the next 6 games by one performance I might agree with you. Actually no I wouldn't. Last night's performance was good enough to win 3 more games.
