Give Purdue some credit

I believe Lundardi has them OUT of The Dance right now.

The Boilermakers are man-handling Ohio St in Coumbus, and lead by 12 at halftime. The two big guys are really shutting down the paint shots.

Purdue has a great defensive team. Ohio St has been inconsistent in Big Ten games.

Will the Big Ten send 6, 7, or 8 teams to The Dance? I heard somebody say today that it would be only 6. I say 7.

Ohio State is such a confusing team. They're super athletic and wildly inconsistent. In 25 minutes they've only scored 29 points?

Right now Palm has purdue as a ten seed and osu as an 8 seed. so this is a huge game for purdue and osu might go on bubble watch

OSU pulls it off. Wow.

Man, that Purdue loss really was big. More so than minny or nw, a win there and we are an absolute lock already and probably projected 1-2 seeds higher. Crazy how much 1 game can change things.

Of course they blew the game...which is good for Iowa. Michigan State and Purdue play each other on Wednesday

Purdue's living off an extremely generous Big Ten schedule. Almost a joke of a sched. I think they have to win out and win a few in the BTT to get a bid

They are killing our hopes of getting a 3 seed and avoiding Wisconsin.
Stop trying to avoid Wisconsin. There are bigger fish than the Vadgers in the NCAA tourney. Be a good test for us to get another crack at them, plus we owe them at least one this season. They got us twice already.

My ideal bracket has Hawks vs Purdue in the 4/5 slot. Not really hung up on #4 or #5, just REALLY want a rematch with Boilers for a little revenge, so Purdon't be goin' to the NCAA. I see good argument for wanting Hawks #4 - rest and all before Wisky - but my gut tells me Hawks might do better if they play a couple and get in a groove.

Then, I love being on Wisky's side of the BTT for another shot!
- All pressure on them to beat Iowa 3 times;
- After winning 1 or 2, then a good showing (upset) against Wisky and maybe Hawks get up to 6 seed in dance???
- Speaking of upset ... lost X 32, then by 11 ... my math says we beat them by 10 on a neutral court!;)

Opportunities, Hawks. You've almost shut me up about your history of falling on your face. The door is waiting for you to kick it open! Don't trip on the mat!!

Exactly. Let's play em again!

I'm not trying to aviod Wisconsin. I'm trying to prolong playing them for as long as possible. :)

I don't think anyone here is trying to avoid them at all. What we'd all like to see happen is to meet up in the finals of the BTT, not the semi's.

Purdue has a very weak SOS and performed horribly in the OOC. Kinda the same boat we were in last year. Kinda.........

We'll play Wisconsin when we play them...not concerned. But I can't think of many bigger fish to fry. Kentucky, Virginia and Wisconsin are the 3 best teams in the country IMO. Kentucky has the most talent but it's about more than raw talent.

I would throw Arizona into that group as well. I don't get to watch them that much but they impressed me Saturday night. They're a very good defensive team with a very good backcourt that can control a game.

You're probably right about Arizona. I'm not sure I've watched them this year other than the Gonzaga game. But they have talent and they have an outstanding coach.
