The cow bells are annoying, but living in the Nashville area, I can attest that Mississippi State fans will be like the South Carolina fans.
Their fans were great, before and after the bowl, and best opponent fan base of the 12 or so bowl games I've attended.

Don't be surprised to see 30,000 Mississippi State fans in the Tampa areas, the days before the bowl game.
Hopefully, Iowa can represent as well.
