this comes from someone that was at the game, very quick, good handles and has a very high BBig, he plays in the class B for Nebraska, but his team did beat every HS team in SC both sides of the border including 4A SC east which is Woodbury's team, whose team is going to play IC west for the 4A title as i was told,
also ICwest beat Paiges team i believe 71 - 51,
as this guy follows HS BB he rates the B class every bit as good as the 4A schools in Iowa
also some feel that if he had been on a different AAU team without Paige he would have been rated higher and gotten more looks from the Big Boys, as it was most had their eyes on Paige as the pg,

I find this very hard to believe.
Nebraska population= 1,842,641
Iowa population= 3,062,309
I just find it hard to believe that overall class B in Nebraska is as good as 4A in Iowa overall. Mikes team is good because he is a great player and has a couple other solid players on his team.
I saw highlights of Mike's team playing the championship game last year and the team they were playing was just bad.
I doubt overall class B is as good as class A in Nebraska.
Gessell will be a good player for Iowa but his team was soundly beaten by
Linn-Mar earlier this year (20 pts) and Marcus dominated.
I wouldn't look into the head-to-head match up too much.
I'm pretty excited for next year. He should help us out immensely if he is capable of playing up to his potential on a consistent basis and can adjust well to the college game.
The Hawks will be a lot of fun to watch the next couple of years I think!
Marcus dominated, but didn't dominate Mike. Mike's coach didn't have him guarding Marcus most of the game which was a mistake.

Dondre Alexander is going to have a decision to make between football and basketball in college. most think he's college football all the way, but he's grabbed some serious attention on the bball floor his Jr year.

what is the possibility of playing both?
that game was played 3 days after Gesell's team got back from a 4 game tournament in 4days out in Arizona, so the team was pretty much gassed, and as for the classes i believe he meant Gesell's team was everybit as good as a 4A school in Iowa not that the class B as a whole was better.
also i didn't catch the mistake on the BBig as i wanted to say BB IQ
and the Reporters out there compared him to Mike Bibby jr.

Mike's team is getting thumped today in the championship game -- down 14 with three minutes to go.
They did fight back and lost by three.
