I didn't write this piece, just thought it was worth sharing. I especially liked the bit that Marble said. That should be a pretty encouraging sign.

He was his class's valedictorian. I didn't realize MG's excellence in the classroom as well as on the court. Nice to know you've got someone with a bit extra between the ears at PG.

I would say yes. Some players are better than others. That can be decided watching layup drills and a defensive footwork drill. A little bit of hyperbole, but not that much. I'm more excited to see Mike than any other frosh at Iowa. Go Hawks!

I wondered this, too. It will be interesting to see who the starter is when conference play starts. Not saying it won't be Mike, but I also think Clemmons has a real shot.

What is truly exciting is that we now seem to have two true PGs, with Dev available with considerable experience at the 1 if needed. Hopefully he won't be.
