Dude balled hard tonight. If Iowa gets this kind of play from him consistently, we can go far. Clemmons still needs work on the other hand.

Agreed. You could make a solid case for Woody, but you have to go Mike. Great job Mike!
 
I have been unimpressed with him this season until tonight. Glad to eat some crow.

Great job and he finally finished and hit some free throws!
 
His contested made shots im first half were thing of beauty. I got nervous when he started diving into the lane, but he finished decent tonight. Clemmons moves to the rim were attempts to get fouls called on meeks, alot of contact were happening.
 
Clemmons was the one who came out and buried two quick shots while the rest looked nervous. His D the rest of the game was pretty good too. Does he make some mental errors? Yes, but he's much more confident this year and that can only be a good thing.
 
Ac had first 5 points. Mg and woody won this gMe at the end basicially. MG, Ac, and Utoff just need to let shots fly, when they do not hesitate and just launch all can hit with more frequency then Oggles3, dud just needs to become a decoy, will give him props for steel and assist to Gabe though. Jok needs to see less time and Dickerson needs more. Glad to see Iowa win, but Fran needs to stop with all th e subbing. I actually think this team is built in a way to grind some teams out with Woody, and Gabe. Defense was god all night helps that they couldn't shoot either, but that could also be our d. Last year teams just couldn't miss against us it was crazy at the end.

Disagree on the bolded....

Jok shot 40% last year and 35% from 3.
This year he is 25% and 17% from 3.

I believe Jok will turn it around. Just like last night, he made a great drive and missed a point blank layup. He missed at least one 3 and then passed on another 3 to take a contested fade away in the corner off the dribble... terrible shot. Right now, it's a mental thing for Peter, not physical. Let's hope Fran can help him find a way to get out of the funk.

I think Dickerson is just going to need a year to transition to D1 ball.
 
It's interesting that Woody and Gesell both played arguably their best game on a night where they played Paige.
 
Yes he does. He played a good game.

Now he needs consistency.

You could say they tore a PAIGE out of their old recruiting handbook and prepared for him. :)
