Gameday @ Iowa (vs Wisc)

I posted this at the beginning of the year and want to reopen this discussion. What are the chances we get gameday in two weeks? Obviously Iowa has to beat Minnesota and Illinois. Wisconsin would have to beat Purdue and Nebraska. If Abdullah is out for awhile it could be possible. That would put a top 20 or top 15 Wisconsin verse a top 25 Iowa for most likely the Big 10 West crown. I'm sure the game would probably be an ABC 2:30 kickoff. It would also be rivalry game that hasn't been played in awhile. Our competition for this game would be currently unranked USC vs #18 UCLA or #19 Arizona vs #17 Utah. http://espn.go.com/college-football/schedule/_/week/13

As cool as it'd be, I can't see espn wanting to come up in the cold for what would be a "decent" game relative to the national scene. I'd guess they'd be at the USC/UCLA rivalry game; if they aren't busy still nobbing MissSt (vs Vandy) or Ole Miss (vs Arkansas) yet

Hawks arent sexy and a power yet.

If we are 8-2 we would be 8-2 with not many good wins, the goofers just lost to lowly Illinois so if we beat them and then the goofers pretty much lose out then Minny is 6-6.

And we lost to ISU my gawd, Miss St, Ole Miss, Auburn, and Alabama would just destroy ISU anywhere it is played.

Iowa needs to start taking care of poor teams like ISU and beating them and Ball St by 20+ points to be sexy and a power again.

I agree. KF seems to leave wins on the table, each season. I guess more than anything, that frustrates me most. I could be more accepting of the ultra conservative approach we've seen, if we didn't lose to ISU, MAC teams an jNW or flat horrible Goopher teams, in the past.
