I just finished the game, good job hawks, the defense made the difference. Offense still sputters at times but Brian is clearly trying some new things. The first half looked like the two worst teams in the big ten so we have a ways to go.

I thought we looked fine in the 1st half...but when you fumble twice inside their 25 and fail on a 4th in the red zone, its certainly going to make the score closer than how the game was going. Should have had 30 plus in the 1st half...

Nope, we're terrible. Game thread shoulda told ya so.

Actually, a pretty nicely called game by the staff. Wrinkles worked.

That game seemed to go over Glen Mason's head talking about how we needed to establish the run and didn't have success passing on first down. We won that game in the first half passing aggressively with the screens and such to set up the run. Then in the third quarter we ran up the middle and went right back to play action to score again. I liked that we tried to establish the run the first series and then went away from that using the pass to set up the running game. The studio BTN guys seemed to get it.
