Game Highlights

This YouTube video has a good amount of game highlights. As with many YouTube videos you can just skip through the ads.

I did notice that there is no way that on our first TD that the ball crossed the plane of the goal line. Wouldn’t have mattered though as it would have been first and goal from less than a foot and there is no defense that is going to stop our QB sneaks behind our All American Center. I swear if you put a caterpillar out there in front of us we could sneak in a yard, lol.

There is a rule in college called goaline or pylon extended. The announcers talked about it. Iirc in the NFL the ball has to cross the goal line in the boundary of the endzone with the front pylon being that vertical imaginary line. CORRECTION, I just read the pros also use the goal line extended rule

I didnt think it was a TD at first but the way the announcers and the officials called it there was pylon extended as part of the players body entered the endzone inside the pylon and the ball carried past the extended goal line before the player was down. I am not sure if this is a newer rule change but I think I have seen this called in the last 5 to 10 years.
