Gabe Starting for 1st Time

Fran is giving Gabe his first start today on senior day. You don't see this kind of thing very often at this level. Gabe deserves it no doubt. JO joining him in the starting lineup as well. Kudos to Fran, both have been great teammates and have had their great moment throughout their careers. Here's to hoping all seniors are sent out with a big win today. The cherry on the top would be Denning getting a chance to get into the game one last time at Carver.

Wish Denning would've gotten a shot up. He was kinda hanging around away from the ball when Clemmons got fouled. They should've run a set for him.

Class move to get Gabe and Josh a start. Both guys deserve a tip of the hat. I wonder if Woody had a hand/say in this. I certainly don't mean to start a controversy here; but Woody has started every game of his career and had a chance to set a Hawkeye record (I believe, for consecutive starts). Im just wondering because it would be an ultimate teammate move of Woody if he had a hand or didn't cause a fuss if approached. Just curious if anyone had inside info (I know many in here do ).
