Longtime Hawkeye fan...2 frustrating losses...BUT, note to the bitchers: 1. Kirk has been a GREAT coach for Iowa. 2. I'm not Kirk or related to or friends with Kirk. 3. Iowa players love being Hawks and bust their asses for Iowa. 4. Sometimes you lose. 5. Second guessing every freaking play that doesn't go our way is fruitless. 6. I'm frustrated we loss. 7. I love my Hawks. And finally, there's a reason none of you out there are the coach or OC or DC(beyond you're not related to Ferentzs')

Kirk is not a championship coach, he's a 6-8 wins a year coach. I'm tired of this cycle we're stuck with under Kirk. He's been here 20 something years and he's almost in his mid 60's, it's time for a change, and I sure as F don't want his kid as our next coach!!!!

Kirk was great for a few years in the 2000's.

Other than 2015, the past 8-9 years have been pretty forgettable.

Kirk has gotten more mileage out of 3 good seasons than any coach in the history of any sport. The only reason he was here for 2015 to happen is because he was still riding the three top ten finishes from a DECADE ago.
