Future Schedules

Does anyone know if future non-con schedules are posted anywhere? I remember on KXNO someone saying Iowa couldn't beef up its NC schedule this year (which is killing Iowa in the RPI, by the way) because of contracts UI had with some other schools--just curious if anyone knows who future contracts are with.

We are currently around 32nd in RPI, and we played 2 top 20 programs out of conference. As long as ISU is decent going forward (seems likely) and we schedule one more good team along with our yearly ACC game I don't see this as a problem.

It's time to get Vanderbilt on the schedule. They are a name brand school and will garner ticket sales. Playing an SEC team will likely never hurt your RPI/SOS. I believe they are doing a home/home with Texas this year so '15-'16 season would be a good time to get them.

We could have played The Citadel every game in the NC and our RPI will be fine by the end of the year. The B1G is tough and we play all of the quality teams twice.

Why is anyone here worried about RPI. Its good now, and assume we do some winning, and with the sched we have, that will take care of itself.

Last years argument, IMO. Flush it.

This. The RPI will come into play a little for seeding purposes but for the most part it is for bubble teams. Barring a complete collapse Iowa isn't a bubble team and the B1G schedule they are playing will help for seeding if they finish top 3 and the RPI will take care of itself.

Vanderbilt probably plays Texas because they have to, as part of the wannabe challenge. Iowa State played Auburn, Baylor played Kentucky, and so on.
