Jacob Rudock threw 5 more TD's as St. Thomas Aquinas routed Cypress, an 8-2 team, 60-14 to finish undefeated for the third staight year. Rudock has never lost a game in his HS career and will bring that winning attitude to Iowa next year. St. Thomas finished 10-0 and will begin the playoffs next week. The Raiders are ranked No.2 in the nation by Rivals and the team boasts more than a half a dozen D-1 recruits. Rudock has thrown 10 TD's in the last two games.

Considering the level of competition down there, that's amazing success. Star ratings don't always reflect a player's potential very well and in the end aren't that important. Even so, it's hard to see how this guy is not a four star prospect. Looks like we're getting about the best three star QB in the country!

Maybe not a total joke but I'm worried about it. Why would a good QB come here especially when Wiscy was recruiting him and they have shown they have no problem unchaining the offense?

the team is 7-3. It's not like they are 3-7. You should find a few things worth worrying about if and until someone decommits.

Why wouldn't you be somewhat concerned? He's a fickle teenager. This kid is a star QB on a premier high school team. Bielema just needs to mail the kid a DVD with todays Iowa and Wisconsin games on it and that could make all the difference in the world.

It was 50/50 joke to seriousness ratio. The above reason is enough to make me worry,(maybe not Bielema, perhaps another coach does this) and plants the seed of doubt....

The good thing is this kid is a pure pocket passer, one that fits into only a handful of systems. Big name schools like Florida, Texas, and so on had no interest in the kid. Wiscy was really the only main competition. The thing that scares me even more is Wiscy doesn't have a QB commit yet this year so I could see them pushing hard to steal him.

Hell, lets worry about a runaway asteroid hitting planet earth this year too. After all, it could happen ;) I just don't get worked up about things unless there is real reason to be.

Just because you are feeling down in a the dumps today doesn't mean a kid in Florida feels that way, someone that has built a relationship with the Iowa staff for the last year

So, he is a fickle teenager...what is your excuse?

With fans like this who needs opponents? We lost today, but I can say without any doubt that the sun will rise tomorrow (Yes, in the east even).

I am looking forward to watch him lead this team. The games that I have seen him play in excites me for what is to come. As they say, do not look back, but look towards what has yet to come...

**Yawn**

Really? Get over yourself. I'm a fan. I get the right to vent just like everybody else on here. If you don't like the post loss meltdown go hang out on youtube and watch stupid videos the next few days.

Kind of like defending against the deep pass against Northwestern.

I don't see us losing anybody right now. Probably will lose some ground with guys who are still up for grabs, but we aren't losing guys that have already committed.

Still feel that way? ;)
