Wrestling: Bombers tap out to top-ranked KoMets | The Republican Eagle | Red Wing, Minnesota

From article:

Two matches later, at 220 pounds, Cannon Falls/Randolph’s Clay Broze and K-M’s Broc Berge both stepped onto the mat for a highly-anticipated rematch. Broze entered the match undefeated at 37-0, including a stunning 8-5 decision over Berge back in December. Berge, a future University of Iowa Hawkeye who is ranked sixth nationally at 195 pounds, was anxious for another shot at Broze, and the Bombers knew it was coming.

Up 5-3 in the third period, Berge fought off a headlock takedown attempt by Broze. Berge would get his revenge with a 7-3 decision.

No, we recruited a 149 pounder named Brady Berge! Although he's only in 8th grade rite now...

Brock is in the semifinals and is wrestling really well! He won his match last night to seal up the statechampionship duals for his team as they beat Simley! As for his little brother B ra dy, if his black and gold wrestling shoes are his early indication of where he wants to be, the hawks are looking good! Although Brady lost to Kyle Gliva an NDSU recruit in the last o.t. last night of the championship dual. He then lost to Gliva of Simley again today in the quarterfinals 4-5 ending his hopes of becoming a 6 time state champ. Good luck to both boys as they finish the state tournament
