Friday weather won't help turnout

It looks like 35 degrees and winds of 20 or so. Man, that is going to keep some Hawk fans home, I'm afraid. I'm thinking you'll be able to pick up tickets for 20 or 30 bucks. Never would have guessed that at the beginning of the year for the Nebraska game under any circumstances.

It will take some really, really loyal Hawk fans to sit through this. Don't know that the weather will help our chances any either.

Still doesn't alter my decision. I will be there, and I'm sure a lot of other Hawk fans will still make the game. Even as bad as a year as we have had, I love being at Kinnick on gameday. Highly doubt we see a very large drop in attendance.

Do people really decide if they are going to the game or not based on the weather? It's November in Iowa and we're playing Nebraska.

Yeah so many people focus their activities based on the local weatherman. I know I'm the odd man out on this one. I don't pay attention to weather forecasts or gas prices. They be what they be and I do what I need to do regardless.

I was up in Minny in 2010 for the after Thanksgiving game and I think the high was only 20 something. This will feel tropical.

Nebraska and Iowa fans are among the fattest in the conference, so I predict the stadium will be packed with 50,000 through the turnstiles and not a single inch of extra butt space.

Only time I remember weather affecting turnout wast the '91 game against Minny when a blizzard rolled through the night before. Game was awesome though.

HOW COULD ANYONE WITH A CHANCE TO GO TO THIS GAME MISS THE OPPORTUNITY TO SEE THE INSANE BORDER CLASH RIVALRY WAR FOR TEH HEROES TROPHY?!?!?!?!?!!

The referee threw an unsportsmanlike flag on the crowd that day. Someone from the the student section threw an absolute strike of a snowball off the referees head in the middle of the field. I watched it from the minute it left the kids hand, who was about 15 rows up, to the explosion on the top of the ref's head. Impressive
