Free-throw shooting late

Sign of a young team? A great effort by the Hawks; shouldn't have had to rely on a missed shot at the end to ensure the win. This one would have been over with about 50 seconds left if we had been making free throws.

Hopefully these will come with some maturity. We're not good enough (yet) to pi$$ points away at the charity line.

Some of it is being young with a true freshman and soph shooting at the end of the game. But no reason for gatens to miss. Im not worried about it at this point. If it continues i will be but as the announcers said... we had 3 guys who hadnt missed a free throw in last 5 min. of a game so at this point ill just settle with calling it an off night from the line and luckily it didnt cost us a w.

It's nice for them to learn this type of lesson off of a W than a loss.

Gatens should have ended it. He missed 3 tonight. Weird game, still can't believe we won.
