After the last two wins Fran is now 40-39 as the head coach of the Hawkeyes. He has done this in less than 3 seasons, about 2 and 1/3rd of a season.

Lickliter was 38-57 in 3 full seasons as the head coach.

So, the question still remains...Are we back yet?

Having only read message boards over the past 6 years... I guess not. Just a little improvement, no really good wins this year, our losses to the average and SOS/RPI that is horrible.

Having watched college basketball the last six years I have to wonder why anyone even posts such an idiotic thread at this point in time. Why not compare Fran to the Dick Schultz years in the early seventies?
