Fran has been Mad again

I've noticed Fran being more of his raving/angry self lately.

When he was all "hoiberg" like in his calm approach I just don't think that works for him.

I think that's one of the reasons were doing better - he is being more the coach he really is, rather than trying to fit some other mold.

I guess i have not been seeing that. No Ts, no chair slamming. I think he has been pretty calm, and i think that makes him more effective.

I've been seeing a little more fire myself. May of had something to do with the refs in recent games, but he is who he is. Players know who he is too. As long as he's not drawing T's and hurting the team I'm all for it.

As long as the players are playing hard and doing what they are supposed to do I see no reason why it would matter what frame of mind he's in.

In the last couple of games, there were some instances where Fran turns his back to the court and starts yelling (apparently at no one in particular). You can see some of the fans sitting close to the bench who are laughing about it. I would love to have seen Fran's expression, or hear what he actually said.

It's relative with Fran. He still gets excited and looks on in disbelief at certain calls or lack thereof (eg: the lack of a flagrant determination when Jok was hacked on his break-away lay-up against tOSU), but he seems to have toned it down some from his raving lunatic self of previous years. Perhaps he has evened out a bit as a result of dealing with his son's cancer and the support they received. Plus two warnings from the BoneG may have something to do with it.
