Former Iowa runningback Mika'il Mccall had his opening debut for Southern Illinois University against Eastern Illinois University. Mika'il lit it up for the Saluki's, scoring his first Collegiate touchdown.

He had 11 rushes for 56 yards, scoring 2 touchdowns off of rushing. He also scored another touchdown off a swing pass he took for 74 yards to the house. Bringing his total to 3 touchdowns on the day.
Despite his great effort, it wasn't enough as SIU, fell to EIU 49 to 28.
Had he stayed I think he would have been the number one rb on the depth chart. Regardless, I wish him well, and I know he will continue to dominate.
Let's hope Garmon and Bullock can have an impressive opening day as well at Soldier field tomorrow. I'll be there, can not wait! GO Hawks!!
