Allen Reisner, 24, a 2007 Marion grad who set the school record for touchdowns, was claimed by the Jacksonville Jaguars after being cut by the Minnesota Vikings on Saturday.

ESPN 1500 reported that the Vikings likely wanted to put Reisner on the practice squad but was claimed off the waiver wire.

I liked Allen Reisner, he was over shadowed by Tony Moeaki. But really when Tony wasn't healthy Allen was the guy.

I hope he goes to the Jaquars and plays well.

I think he'll do pretty well.. The Vikes are pretty set at TE so he was pretty buried on the depth chart.

Bingo, if the Vikings QB was playing up to his 1st round draft pick potential more people would see that but he is struggling, may or may not be his fault but with AP in his backfield that should help open up the passing game for him.
