Former Hawk Marcus Wilson Article

I saw this on another hawkeye site and thought I would post it here. Sounds like he is doing well and might be drafted. Already worked out for the Eagles.

Good for him. I remember being pretty excited about his potential when he was here, glad to see that he still has a chance to fulfill it now!

Honestly Iowa has brought in a lot of kids who have left and went elsewhere to star. Morrow, Moses, Coleman all had very good years last year. This staff knows how to evaluate talent, that's for sure...

Can you give us their stats?

That's really cool - good for Marcus. I like to see good kids do well even if they don't finish with the program.

Wasn't there also a receiver that transferred to Houston and was doing really well either last year or 09? James Cleveland?

Well I know you are just trying to be cute but unfortunately for you, you underestimated me yet again...

Morrow plays for Toledo....and if memory serves was in the top 5 or 6 or 7 in tackles for the season and I believe may have led the team in INT's......I'll look it up later.

Moses played for Tulane and even though I believe he was suspended for a game or two still led the team in sacks....

Coleman left to go play at Lamar if memory serves and I'm pretty nsure he led them in tackles as well....
Anything else.....

Oh and yes to the other poster who was being genuine and sincere, Cleveland had a very solid career down at Houston but ended up getting himself in some trouble down there as well.

As promised here are the stats for the aforementioned players…

Moses was a DE and was 7th on the team in tackles….

#2 in tackles for loss, #2 in sacks #1 in QB hurries, had an INT and 2 fumble recoveries.

Morrow was a SS and was 9th on the team in tackles, he had 2 INT’s, the leader had 3 (3 guys).

Coleman played DE and was 7th on the team in tackles and number one in tackles for loss. He also recovered 2 fumbles…

You'll note I did not cherry pick the numbers as I was a little high on a couple of my predictions, but all in all, good
numbers for guys who were down the depth chart at Iowa and I believe they all (maybe not Coleman) have a year left.

Boy you read a lot into a simple question. Got any links for your stats because I think your info is off (not where they played but stat-wise).
