Why so much more interest in Forbes than Dooley?

Dooley is an assistant at Kansas and was head coach at East Carolina.
Forbes is an assistant at Tennessee and is from Lone Tree, IA. He has had no D-I head coaching experience but is highly regarded as a recruiter. He does have some head coaching experience at the JuCo level. The more I read about him the more I like him.

That's what got me...I know Forbes is an assistant at Tennessee, but Tennessee's new football coach's name is Derek Dooley...I confuse easily.
I suggest you read Jon's piece about him and you'll see why. This is a guy that would genuinely cherish the chance to be the bench boss for the Iowa Hawkeyes. And as an already proven recruiter (he had a top 10 or 15 class at LA Tech for crying out loud) he would absolutely be able to sell the program to potential recruits AND the fanbase.
After Dixon, this guy is who I'd love to see. And I'm not so sure I wouldn't like to see him as #1 anyway. If Dixon did come, I'd love to see Forbes come to be the top assistant and take over when Dixon decided to move on.
