For the Steve Lavin fans here

A little snippet about Baron Davis, who played for Lavin:

"As reported by Bay Area blogger Geoff Lepper of the Contra Costa Times, former UCLA point guard Baron Davis looked into the rafters at Pauley Pavilion last Friday during the Golden State Warriors' morning shoot-around and said, "We should have a banner up there: the only team to make the tournament without a coach." . . .

Somewhere, surely, Steve Lavin's ears were burning."

Steve Lavin is not remembered fondly at UCLA. He did win there, but the coach that proceeded him went to the NCAA tournament eight straight years and won a title. The coach that replaced him has gone to the final four three time in seven years.

All coaches seem to win at UCLA (except Walt Hazzard).

Harrick cheated. How do you think Lavin got that job in the first place?

Davis is a legend in his own mind and by most accounts a major tool.. I am sure everycoach in America has at least one kid that didn't think much of him.. I will take that with a grain of salt..
