I posted my tickets as being available in a previous thread. My buyers have since backed out on the transaction.

I have 4 tickets for sale in section 138, row 28, near the aisle with seatbacks. I will sell in sets of 2 for $125/ticket otherwise I will sell all 4 for $480. Arrangements have to be made to pick up the tickets in the Iowa City area before Friday.

Email kmlhawk@yahoo.com if interested.

They backed out because they found cheaper tickets elsewhere...you're asking too much. It's a nationally televised game and people can watch from the comfort of their own home. This is Iowa football, not the NFL playoffs lol.

I saw one pair for $100/ticket, and other than that I have not seen anything cheaper than $125. Just sayin'... Most are listed as $150 or more on Craig's List and StubHub.

$125 is somewhat reasonable. Just because you can't afford it doesn't mean its a bad asking price.

* for clarification I couldn't afford it either.

Being able to afford it and choosing to not pay that much per ticket are completely different things.

Your seats are in the corner of the end zone. The people selling for 100 to 150 are at least closer to midfield. Not all seats are created equal. Craigslist is a better indication of what people are ASKING but what they are getting is something different. Stub Hub is super inflated. The most you could get out of those tickets are $75. IMO

Section 138 does not require a donation and a season ticket costs just over $51 per game. I think the seat backs cost around 50 for the season, so that would be an additional 7 dollars and change per game.

Total cost of a ticket with seatback in that section is a shade under $60 per game. 100% mark up for a homecoming night game against Penn State.

I got $100 per ticket for 2 tickets in Section 136 for the ISU game. I am sure the seller will get what they are asking for these tickets.

Exactly, he will get $125 for these tickets.

If iowa was undefeated yes. But why pay $125 for corner endzone when you can be around the 20 to 10 for the same price?

Why is everyone busting this guys balls, if you don't want to pay $125 or think you can get a better deal, do so. I'm sure he'll have plenty of offers or bite the bullet and sell them for $100 a piece.
